Window well covers are on my list of things that I want to get when I have some extra money lying around (ha.ha). I don't know if Katie falling in the window well and surviving to tell (and laugh) about it makes it less urgent or more urgent.

I have a love-hate relationship with the deep window wells. I LOVE the amount of light they provide for the basement and the safety factor, but I HATE the danger. We've had that happen once or twice here too.
